FAQ

What are the dimensions of our watches?

For our standard dive style watch, the measurements are as below.

- 40mm case diameter

- 47mm lug to lug

- 20mm lug width

- 11mm thickness

Can I replace the battery by myself?

Yes, you could replace the battery yourself but you must be careful not to remove too much oil otherwise it may need to be topped up with oil to prevent an air bubble.

What is the water resistance of the watch? / Can it be used underwater?

We cannot say for sure the exact water resistant level since they have not been pressure tested yet. However, it definitely works for swimming and other basic water activities. We have tested them in various underwater conditions and they have all held up perfect to far. There are many videos on Youtube of oil filled watches being pressure tested. They all seem to be able to go into the 1000m+ range so we would expect these to be able to handle at least 200m but cannot say for certain.

What movement do we use in our watches?

We use the PC21S Seiko movement. All our watches are tested for any leaks and accuracy before being sent out. The battery type is SR626SW.

Is the crown screw down or push/pull?

It uses a push pull crown. We've modified the stem by adding 2 rubber o - rings on it to prevent any leaks. As a result, there are no leaks.

What oil do we use?

We use a 50cst silicone oil as it has a lower viscosity than other oils, meaning that the battery life would be longer as the oils apply less resistance against the hands.
